2010 had a number of great metal releases, but 2011 is setting up to be a
HUGE year for metal albums.
We have release dates for some of the CD's,
but more are obviously coming soon.
Here's a list of the most anticipated albums of 2011. As of now it
looks like next year we are getting new records from Crowbar,
Gojira(EP), Opeth, Lazarus A.D, Belphegor, Amon Amarth, Turisas, Cage,
Aborted, Deicide, Devin Townsend Project, Pentagram, Arch Enemy, The
Faceless, Anthrax, Abysmal Dawn, Korpiklaani, Neuraxis, Devildriver,
Revocation, Decapitated, Origin, Darkest Hour, Omnium Gatherum, Within
Temptation, The Haunted, Children of Bodom, Unearth, Iced Earth, Lacuna
Coil, and more.
There are also rumors of new albums from Megadeth,
Trivium, The Black Dahlia Murder, Testament, and Hate Eternal, but again
those are just rumors so they may not come out next year. Even without
those last few records, next year is lining up to be extra special!
